The carabiner's gate is designed to minimize play when closed, thus reducing the impact of fatigue on the carabiner. The slide-autolock mechanism ensures reliable closure without manipulation, yet it can still be easily opened with a gentle press of the slider.

Due to the higher breaking strength of stainless steel carabiners compared to aluminum, AUSTRIALPIN generally recommends using only AUSTRIALPIN stainless steel carabiners for tandem flights. The corresponding marking on the carabiner is "mono+bi". Because of its shape, the POWERFLY is designed exclusively for use with 25/45 mm webbing!

The maximum service life is reached after 1500 flight hours or 5 years from initial use.
