The ALTA has secured a solid position in the EN A category when it comes to passive safety and reliability. Despite this, it boasts the glide performance of a mid-range EN B glider. Whether you're launching from a coastal dune or a high alpine mountain pass, hunting cross-country or simply soaring in local thermals, the ALTA will effortlessly get you to your desired destination.

The technology

The ALTA combines design technologies that have pushed the boundaries of performance of our most advanced paragliders.

• Double transverse shaping for maximum efficiency in the nose and at the leading edge.
• Optimized positioning of the airflow for high internal pressure and good stability at the wingtip – this supports both handling and performance.
• The lower area, which receives the air, benefits from an innovative new feature that eliminates vibrations that occur in designs with a lower stretch.
• 3D centering of the rib arrangement for optimal airflow and best efficiency.
• The high aspect ratio design, combined with the winglets, offers the best of both worlds: better handling, good roll stability and good behavior in steep spirals.
• A new and unique profile, which we developed from the Moxie, enables quick and easy filling behavior at the start.
• The new line plan for the lowest possible air resistance and the new materials were generated from our knowledge base, which we acquired for our R&D projects for the Red Bull X-Alps.
