What's your pace?
HOW DOES THE PACE FLY?
The PACE launches almost by itself. You don't even need to touch the risers. A gentle push through the harness is all it takes, and the canopy is instantly above the pilot. The ultralight wing climbs very quickly, yet stops on its own and doesn't overshoot. With just a few steps, you're already airborne. This makes the PACE perfect for launching from the smallest launch sites and in very challenging terrain.
In the air, the PACE responds directly to control inputs, flying very intuitively and with playful ease. Control pressure is minimal. In turbulence, the PACE's design offers extremely high collapse resistance and exceptional inherent stability. The PACE stabilizes itself and, if necessary, realigns itself above the pilot. As a result, there is virtually no pendulum motion when exiting a steep spiral.
When landing a single-skin glider, it's important to fly as fast as possible on final approach to create a pleasant flare effect. Applying the brakes too early can completely destroy lift. The PACE is equipped with the NUDGE system. This generates additional lift during landing by deploying the C-risers once a certain braking point is reached.
The PACE can be retrofitted with a trimmer system. This not only increases the trim speed but also improves the flare characteristics. However, the type approval according to EN/LTF becomes invalid upon installation and use of the trimmer system.

What size should I choose for this umbrella?
A single-skin paraglider is more sensitive to wing loading compared to a conventional paraglider. Therefore, a single-skin glider will fly slower with slightly too low a wing loading; with slightly higher wing loading, it will fly faster and more dynamically. The graphic will help you choose the right size.
