The fun machine
Lively. Direct.
The TONIC2 is the fun machine in our miniwing range. This super-compact wing with its narrow wingspan and short lines is perfect for anyone who enjoys soaring in strong winds or performing aerobatics close to the slope. We like to call it the "go-kart" of the air. The TONIC2 responds to steering inputs with incredible directness and precision, and loves banked turns and dynamic maneuvers. Despite this, its versatility is surprisingly high – depending on the size you choose.
The TONIC2 is not only a perfect glider for strong winds, but also an ideal training glider for ground handling, practicing wingovers and loops, and a perfect companion for hike & fly tours. Its performance is sufficient to glide out of any valley or even stay aloft on thermic days.
A carefully selected mix of materials ensures the necessary robustness for dune soaring and low weight for hike & fly. A special feature is the trimmer risers, which significantly increase the speed range. One thing all sizes have in common: the TONIC2 is extremely easy to handle, extremely fun to fly, and extremely durable!

HOW DOES THE TONIC FLY?
Thanks to its small wingspan and short lines, the TONIC2 can be designed for even the smallest spaces. Launch preparations are incredibly simple. A single pull on the lines and the canopy rises compactly and smoothly. Because the TONIC2 generates lift very quickly, the pilot takes off rapidly – this was a key requirement in the development of our new miniwing.
The TONIC2 instantly translates control inputs and weight shifts into banked turns and maneuvers. The reactions are moderate and predictable. However, those new to miniwings should gradually familiarize themselves with this characteristic of our compact short-line glider. The reactions vary depending on the size and wing loading. Lightly loaded, the TONIC2 is suitable for thermal soaring; heavily loaded, it transforms into a powerful rocket for strong winds on cliffs and dunes.
The TONIC2 is very stable in turbulence, but its agility requires an active flying style – especially at high wing loadings. Control pressure increases sharply towards the stall point. Speed can be precisely controlled for landing using the brakes.
The TONIC2 is extremely versatile – depending on the size you choose. Its performance varies depending on the size and the corresponding wing loading. With a lighter load, the TONIC2 is suitable for thermal soaring; with a heavier load, it's a true mini-wing. The graphic should help you choose the right size.
